Low Back Pain & yoga: Vital precautions!

Herniated disk (slipped disk) is one of the most common types of serious low back pain and presents risks to people practising yoga.

Herniated disk can be exacerbated by certain yoga postures. but helped by yoga, if suitable precautions are taken.

Identification of herniated disc is sometimes difficult. We have recently launched a new system on the Internet to help people with low back pain assess whether they are likely to have a herniated disk and, if they do, to provide advice on how to manage it safely.
