Uma has been teaching yoga for eleven years, and working as a yoga therapist for the past seven years. She specialises in women's health issues, including fertility, menstrual health, pregnancy, yoga for birth, postnatal recovery and baby yoga. She works especially with recuperative and restorative yoga that is of particular benefit for those experiencing insomnia, exhaustion, digestive disturbances, anxiety, stress, fear and panic attacks. Uma also uses sound and breath work that is of particular benefit in the therapeutic approach to respiratory disorders, including COPD and asthma.
